Perfect host and stay. Beautiful

Our host was a delight and made us feel very at home. The room exceeded all expectations. Extremely well decorated- simple, understated and stylish. The bed is massive. Our room opened up into the courtyard which includes a plunge pool. The plunge pool offers a cool place during the heat in Cartagena. Breakfast each morning is delicious. Location is perfect- situated in Getsemani- close to the hustle and bustle of the old city but less touristy.

Great location.

Great location. Leia was absolutely great, so friendly and helpful. she went out of her way to make us comfortable. Lovely to be staying close by to locals and very easy access to tourist spots.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Portal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Portal. The host, Lea is extremely friendly and helpful. She made us some delicious breakfasts and made us feel extremely welcome. The house is in a great location in Getsemani, seconds away from Plaza de Trinidad and some great restaurants.

- The host! Léa is such a funny and friendly lady and she really made us feel at home. - Breakfast. Freshly made by Léa :) - The house is really nice. - Location. Right in the middle of Getsemani (but in a quite street) and close walking distance to the old town.

Best little B&B in Cartagena!

This small, intimate B&B is located in the Getsemani area of Cartagena, a short walk to the Walled City. Getsemani is a laidback, bohemian place with lots of colorful little stores, bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable with a large fan and AC. Lea, our hostess is a true sweetheart. She made us delicious breakfasts every morning and made us feel like family. We hated to leave!

Wonderful visit, felt like part of the family!

Lea, who operates the small guesthouse was wonderful. She is very friendly and always willing to help. She is full of life and is happy to go out of her way to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast was great too!

The first room I had faced the street which was a bit noisy. I was able to move to a quieter room in the back which was much better. Also since it is very hot in Cartagena the water is normally on the cool side in the shower. I had to ask to have it a bit warmer, which Lea fixed for me.

Lea, the host was absolutely a charm. Make us feel at home. Location is the best, just not in the middle and within the old city wall
